We have lots of friends on the internet including other custom carvers and businesses with which we work. We also know how frustrating it can be to try to find specific products or information on the internet. The following links are provided to help the leather working community keep connected.

Cowboy Showcase  - Showcase for the Cowboy Way and the spirit of the American west featuring authentic ranch stories, cowboy lore, photos, western saddles, cowboy tack, horses, and western lifestyle.

East Mountain New Mexico - Rey Fulwiler has a great site with links to all kinds of information relative to the East Mountain area of New Mexico (East of Albuquerque). Check his site out!

Leather Crafter's Corner - This is my Blog on tips and techniques for leather crafting. It includes my posts as well as the comments of readers.

Southwest Billiard Tables - Check out my friend, Dave Hamrick's site where he sells beautiful handcrafted billiard tables in Southwest styles. I do carved leather panels for some of these. You can see an example in my portfolio.

Peter Main - Peter has a fantastic site! His art demonstrates both traditional and innovative approaches to leather design. I have long admired his work and turn to his designs frequently for inspiration and encouragement to try new techniques. He is an inspiration to us all.

New Mexico Roadrunner Leather Artisans Guild - This is the local leather crafters' group to which I belong. It is not a huge group but is full of friendly, sharing, talented and excited people. It is a true honor to part of this group.

PSLAC - Puget Sound Leather Artisans Co-op - A large, friendly group of carver's centered in the Puget Sound area but with members all over the world (including me... Doc Hayes).

IILG - International Internet Leathercrafters Guild

Brettuns Village - Great source for leather! Especially small to medium pieces that are remnants from manufacturers. Churchill is a great guy to deal with and be sure to sign up for his newsletter. It's great!

Tandy Leather - Most of my products come from Tandy Leather/The Leather Factory. I am able to buy at a low price because I am a dealer... so I try to offer better than retail prices every day to you. BUT... I don't carry everything. AND these folks have some really great sales with price I can't beat sometimes. SO check them out frequently. I want you to get the best deal you can... and sometimes that's not from me :-)

Texas Wholesale Leather - These are really nice folks with good prices on leather. Check them out!

The Leather Crafters & Saddlers Journal - This is a great publication! Every two months a new journal comes out that is packed with tips, patterns, and other sharing. Also, this is a great place to find sources for tools, leather, etc. Here's their contact info:

Hide Crafter Leathercraft - George Hurst and his crew have a great retail outfit. George also does outstanding video instruction materials... I've viewed most of them and recommend them highly to my friends!

Ohio Travel Bag - If you haven't found these folks yet you better check them out. When you are looking for that special kind of fasterner, handle, etc. this is probably where you will find it. The only drawback is a $75 minimum order... but heck it's not hard to buy $75 worth of stuff from these folks ;-)

Siegel of California - Great source for tools, etc.

Weaver Leather - An outstanding supply source for the saddlemaker and serious leather crafter!

Dusty Johnson and Pleasant Valley Saddle Shop - Dusty has great videos on saddle making, holster making etc. He also offers individualize training in saddle making for a luck few individuals each year.
